Another REason PMs are a Must

Getting excessive vibration during patient scans? It could be an indication of a problem with your MRI's cooling head. Most MRI systems have several cooling mechanisms running continuously and are prone to wear after 18 to 24 months from install. Since the cold head is not monitored directly by all MRI systems, the only way to ensure proper cooling and less teeth rattling is to have a trained technician perform a routine PM.
